About Me

Hey there! I’m Ernie (he/him), a 31 year old artist based in Portland, OR. I’ve been working in freelance art and design since 2017 when I graduated from Portland State University with a BA in Graphic Design, and I find immense joy in working with each of my clients to help bring to life the projects of their dreams. Although the last few years I have primarily found myself working in the video game vinyl realm, I am always looking for whatever work would be a good fit for me and my strengths.

My bread and butter is hand-drawn illustration and layout design, but I also have a DIY screenprinting studio in my garage and have a foundation in tactile mediums like relief block printing, painting, and really anything that’s a good excuse to get my hands a little dirty. From 12″x25″ spreads of illustration, center labels, typographic layout, stickers, and everything in between I love to tackle whatever folks need.

Aside from work stuff—I am a lifelong fan of video games (and love my fandoms and video game music a very normal amount!!!) and am always juggling multiple games on my Steam Deck, I collect license plates, I love going to hardcore shows, and I am my two cats’ little spoon.
