Very Ok Vinyl 3rd Anniversary Shirts

A collaboration I look forward to every year is getting to do a run of shirts with Very Ok Vinyl for the label’s anniversary in the spring. For the 3rd anniversary it was our 2nd time doing shirts, and we wanted to mix it up a little bit. I had recently gotten a block printing press, and while I didn’t end up using it for this project, I still carved a relief block to hand print every shirt. Text is incredibly unfun to carve, but I’m happy with the result we ended up with. I created a cardboard jig to line the blocks up with and it made the actual printing process much less scary. All in all it was a step outside my comfort zone, and I’m glad we did it this way—looking forward to going back to screenprinting for the 4th anniversary though!
